Marina has always been passionate about sustainable design and community impact. This interest motivated her to incorporate these aspects throughout her design education and into her early professional experiences.

She loves learning about the entire design process, primarily the transition into construction documentation. Her early intern experience includes ground-up industrial buildings, office interiors, and commercial retail. Her role in these projects has included an emphasis in construction documentation as well as master planning, concept design, renderings, and schematic design.

Marina received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston, and her minor in Energy and Sustainability from the Honors College. Before joining HarrisonKornberg, she gained production experience as a student intern in master planning, concept design, schematics design, design development, and construction documentation for both industrial and retail projects.

She is an active participant in the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) Houston and strives to further her mission to make the industry a more inclusive and diverse environment. Marina is currently pursuing her Architectural Licensure and LEED certification.

Marina is an avid collector of random hobbies. She enjoys biking, roller skating, running, and road-tripping to different beaches to build extravagant sandcastles. On slower days she enjoys comfort food, true crime documentaries, and adventuring with her cat, Little Chef.
