One of Sarah’s favorite aspects of being an architect is stepping into the unique worlds of her clients—whether working with research laboratories, planetariums, theaters, broadcast facilities, libraries, museums, or courthouses. Each project type provides new perspectives and opportunities to apply lessons learned across disciplines.
Sarah enjoys the challenges of complex, long-term, and multi-phase projects—engaging from the initial marketing and predesign phases through construction. Much of her work has been with institutional clients who have long-term visions and strategic goals for their projects.
Sarah received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame, which included a year of study in Rome.
Sarah has always understood history through architecture, a perspective that sparked her passion for historic preservation and adaptive reuse. She is working with groups that help safeguard the places that hold the stories of our communities and encourage the reuse of existing resources.
Sarah spends her spare time with her dog and taking classes at the Houston Ballet.
